Description

Fonio Paddy seed is the smallest seed in the millet family, the Fonio paddy grain is the harvested end product of the planted seed.

Fonio Paddy seed and grain have undergone scientific research and testing over a three-year period and have been found to prevent, cure and eradicate coccidiosis in birds and other animals. it is extremely beneficial to cage & aviary birds as it has also been found to help treat two other protozoal illnesses, trichomoniasis (sexual organ problems), which can also infect humans, and Giardiasis (diarrhoea & loose droppings). Also, it can help with respiratory problems when the birds are in the moult and when rearing chicks.

Bird keepers have used the Fonio Paddy seed for generations with many of the top Breeders/keepers adding Fonio Paddy to the bird’s weekly diet.

Feeding:

We recommend feeding the seed on its own at a ration of one finger drawer size portion for each bird once a week.

(So, 10 birds, use 10 finger size portions, and so on…)

For birds in flights or aviaries, feed the same ratio of seed in bowls/dishes.

Please note: our seed bags may be a couple of grams short to take into effect the weight of the packaging. So we keep in the weight limits that EVRI insist on.
